03 Questions
Before you come.
- Where exactly is Beycik Nara Hotel?
- In the mountain village of Beycik, at 950 m on the southern slopes of Tahtalı Dağı, inside the Olympos-Beydağları National Park. Beycik belongs to the district of Kemer in Antalya province; the nearest coastal town is Tekirova, about 15 km away by road.
- How far is it from Antalya Airport?
- About 85 km, roughly 1 hour 20 minutes by car along the D400 coast road, turning off at the Beycik junction south of Tekirova. We can arrange a transfer.
- Is Beycik on the Lycian Way?
- Yes. Beycik lies on the eastern part of the trail, between the stage that climbs from Ulupınar and the stage that crosses the shoulder of Tahtalı at about 1,800 m and descends to Yayla Kuzdere. That col is one of the highest points of the route.
- What do you offer walkers?
- On request: early breakfast, packed lunches, luggage transfer to your next stop, transfers to trailheads and the airport, and laundry with a warm place to dry boots. Tell us your plans when you book.
- What are the rooms like?
- There are fifteen rooms, on the sea side or the mountain side of the house. Each has two beds that join as a double or stand apart as twins, heating and cooling and hot water around the clock; an extra bed can be added for a third guest.
- When is the best time to walk here?
- Spring, from February to May, and autumn, from September to November. Summer is very hot on the coast, and in winter the col above Beycik is often in cloud or snow.
