Stay

Fifteen rooms, one long table.

Nara is not a big hotel and doesn’t try to be. It is a mountain house run by a family, where the rooms are warm and quiet, the garden is wide and the day starts whenever your walk does.

01 The rooms

Two sides of the house, one kind of quiet.

Every room has two beds that can be pushed together as a double or kept apart as twins, and an extra bed can be added for a third guest. All you choose is the side of the house: the sea side or the mountain side.

02In every room

  • Heating & cooling

Air conditioning that warms the room on cold spring nights and cools it in high summer.

  • Hot water, always

Around the clock, even after a late arrival off the mountain.

  • Two beds, your way

Pushed together as a double or apart as twins. Tell us when you book.

  • Quiet

A village at the edge of the national park: no through traffic, no nightlife, birdsong at first light.

03 Services for walkers

Built around the next stage.

Tell us when you book where you are coming from and where you are walking next. We will plan the morning with you.

  1. 01

    Early breakfast

The climb to the col is long; many walkers start at first light. We serve breakfast as early as you need it.

  2. 02

    Packed lunch

A lunch packed for the trail, so the long day over the mountain needs no detours.

  3. 03

    Luggage transfer

Leave your main bag with us in the morning and walk with a day pack; we bring it on to your next stop on the route.

  4. 04

    Transfers

From Antalya airport, from the trailheads at Çıralı and Ulupınar, or on to villages further along the Lycian Way.

  5. 05

    Laundry & drying

A wash for a week’s worth of trail clothes, and somewhere warm for boots to dry overnight.

  6. 06

    Local knowledge

Ask us about the state of the path and the weather on the col before you set off. We live here.

Services are arranged on request; we confirm availability and prices when we reply to your booking.

04 The table

Breakfast at any hour, wine from the house.

Breakfast is the meal walkers care about most, so we serve it whenever you need it: before dawn for the climb, late for a rest day. The vegetables and fruit on the table are grown nearby.

In the evenings there is home cooking, the fish salad regular guests ask for by name, and our own house wine. A good end to a day on the trail.

The garden, from above.

05Good to know

Evenings are cool
At this height it is several degrees cooler than on the coast. Even in summer, bring a warm layer for the evening.
Shops & cash
For cash machines, pharmacies and outdoor shops, Tekirova and Kemer are a short drive away. Stock up before you climb.
Arriving on foot
Let us know roughly when you expect to reach Beycik. If the day turns long, please call us; we would rather know.
Arriving by car
Turn off the D400 at the Beycik junction south of Tekirova and follow the road six kilometres uphill to the village. Parking at the house is free.
